The Games that Inspired "Target Countdown"

The Games that inspired my Game were Time Crisis and the many online sniper Games on the web.  I enjoy sniper games but they become very repetitive and mostly only have one objective, shoot to kill.  I wanted to bring the timer idea from Time Crisis into my sniper game to give that added pressure and extra dimension of difficulty that most sniper games don't have.
Graphics wise, I'm hoping to make the game in stick fashion, which is a commonly used technique but often produces the most enjoyable sniper games.

2D Game Graphics Development

"What sprites do you require for your game? How many? what type?"

The sprites that will be included are;

  • Background x1
  • Countdown Timer x1
  • Sniper sight x1
  • Enemy types x3
  • Play button x1
  • Help button x1
  • Back button x1
  • Rifle
  • Ammo

"How will the player interact with these sprites? Do you need multiple costumes for certain sprites? How many? How will they differ from each other?"

In the case of the enemies, you left click the mouse to interact/shoot, this is done via the sniper sight, which will follow wherever you move the mouse. Enemies will have two costumes, one normal and one for when they are shot. The background will also have multiple costumes, one for each level. The countdown timer will also have multiple costumes.
